2018 Annual Report

Dear Friends of Inspiring HANDS,

I am proud to be among an amazing team who originally founded Inspiring HANDS, as working to establish the Inspiring HANDS Scholarship Fund has been among the greatest privileges of my career. Inspiring HANDS has grown into a strong and well established non-profit organization that is operated solely by volunteers and fully funded by donations. In less than five years, with the help of our community members, we were able to see the organizations mission and vision come to fruition. In addition to countless immediate needs being met, Inspiring HANDS has awarded nearly $95,000 in scholarships to 124 individuals with financial and special needs. We also have over $80,000 in reserve to be strictly used for  future scholarships.

After proudly serving for nearly five years, and overseeing its founding, as President, I have chosen to depart from that role as of January 2019. We are pleased to welcome Tracy Davis as incoming President. She is well qualified and will be a true asset to the organization. Tracy has experience in Team Leadership, Process Development & Delivery, Training & Development, Cost Controls, Financial Reporting, Communications, Customer Service, and more. Plus, she has a sincere wish to help where help is needed and a long track record of doing so.

The board of Directors and I will assist to manage the transition to assure that the organization remains poised for continual growth while staying true to its mission; to directly make a difference in the life of those in need within our community and encouraging others to do the same.

I look forward to focusing on family (my new Grandbaby), my day job at Challenger Drilling, Inc., and continuing to serve our community and Inspiring HANDS, which shall forever be held in my heart, as needed.”

Sincerely,

Susan C. Lutz

Past President
