KILROY’S KREW IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS WHO WANT TO SHOW APPRECIATION TO OUR WWII VETERANS FOR GIVING US THE FREEDOMS WE ENJOY TODAY. WITHOUT THE SACRIFICES OF THE GREATEST GENERATION WE WOULD BE LIVING IN A DIFFERENT WORLD.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST OUR VETERANS AS THEY TRAVEL TO WASHINGTON, D. C. TO SEE THEIR MEMORIAL, TO ASSIST AT THE AIRPORT AS THEY DEPART ON THE TRIP THEY WILL NEVER FORGET, AND AS THEY RETURN TO THE AIRPORT AFTER THEIR ADVENTURE.
THERE ARE MANY OTHER AREAS THAT NEED ATTENTION, SUCH AS MARKETING, SCHEDULING, FUND RAISING, LOGISTICS AND JUST GENERALLY SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT THE MISSION.
COME AND SEE WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT AND HOW YOU CAN BE A PART OF THIS ADVENTURE TO HONOR THESE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE GREATEST GENERATION.
Shop Kendra Scott – The Woodlands Market Place on March 4 from 6-8 pm and the store will “Give Back” a portion of the sales to Inspiring HANDS No need to be present to participate. Proceeds benefit our programs including Campership & Ridership Awards to individuals of all ages with financial and special needs.
Each year Inspiring HANDS, together with local businesses, sponsors up to ten (10) seniors from a partnering high school within the greater Houston / Harris County area to attend their Senior Prom. Recipients enter to win complete prom packages including prom tickets, a gown/tuxedo, flowers, hair, nails and more complimentary of our local business partners. Recipients are awarded based on financial and/or special needs.

Inspiring HANDS has partnered with The Giving Gown Foundation for their 2016 Boutique Days. We are looking for volunteers to assist in the Cafe on Saturday, April 9th, 2016. If you would like to volunteer and be a part of this wonderful event, please CLICK HERE and sign up online. When registering please be sure to select Cafe Helper and 4/9 from the drop down menu. Also, please note Inspiring HANDS in the “how did you hear about us” box so that we know you are a part of our volunteer group.
Although you must be 21 and a female to assist during Boutique days, strong helping male hands are very much needed to assist during setup on April 2nd-April 6th and again the evening of April 9th for take down.
Additional volunteers are needed throughout the event from seamstresses to fairy Godmothers who assist the girls in their gown selection.
